Kamari Carter

Program Associate, Learning & Development

As the Learning and Development Program Associate, Kamari provides administrative, operational, and marketing support to the Learning and Development team and the National Programs team. In her role, she supports the hiring, training, and development of Interise's Instructor network. Kamari also supports curriculum development initiatives and program management for new and existing partners. Prior to joining Interise, Kamari worked as a marketing analyst at a consulting firm where she focused on developing innovative marketing strategies to enhance client experiences. In her leisure time, she finds joy in cooking new recipes and crafting creative social media advertisements for small businesses.

What do I care about?
I’m passionate about bringing communities fair access to resources that empower them to live fulfilling, healthy lives. Oftentimes, the well-being and quality of life of individuals residing in underserved communities goes overlooked. From equitable access to healthcare to diverse, nutritious food options, I advocate for people in all communities to have equal access to essential services and businesses that meet their needs.
