BUSINESS OVERVIEW
Washington Business Group is a construction management services firm that prides itself on providing high-quality and cost-effective support to the federal government, private businesses, and nonprofits. Situated in Ward 8, WBG is a premier corporation to new and existing clients as well as committed partner to the local community. Today, WBG is managing over 100 large and small projects, while averaging about 15 percent growth in annual revenue.

BUILDING COMMUNITY THROUGH SERVICE
Before relocating to Ward 8, Washington Business Group was a block and a half away from the White House. This position was quite indicative of Dinesh’s focus at the time: “I was all about business, money, power,” he recalls. After moving to the Ward 8, however, Dinesh realized there was so much more he could do for his city: Washington’s largest neighborhood had “the highest poverty and highest unemployment – about 35% unemployment.”

Some of WBG’s projects for community impact include neighborhood renovation projects like Adopt-the-Block, and construction projects focused on providing new services and housing for underserved residents. WBG has become not only a great DC business, but also a DC community leader. And thanks to Dinesh’s efforts to convince more businesses to come to Ward 8, 11 new businesses have relocated to the area.
