The City of Charlotte is launching the inaugural AMP Up Charlotte program in partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA) to equip minority business owners for contracting opportunities for the NBA All-Star 2019 activities that will take place in February 2019. Participating in the AMP UP Charlotte program does not guarantee a contracting opportunity with the NBA.

BASIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Ethnic minority business owner with 51% or greater ownership of the business
  • $175,000+ in annual revenues
  • One other employee beside the business owner(s)
  • Been in business for at least 2 years
